Enumerations

Value lists from databases or other technical sources are described as enumerations and are organized in data models. Transformations can be used to connect these enumerations with the corresponding reference objects.

Add enumerations

Enumerations are specified in a data model in the subpanel of a collection.

Options menu

A new enumeration is added by clicking the tab "Enumerations" and the icon "+" (or by selecting "Add Enumeration..." in the menu).

Add

It is mandatory to assign a label to the enumeration. In addition, a title and a description can be specified.

Clicking "Add" creates the enumeration.

Tooltip

Enumerations can also be created by duplicating other enumerations.

Edit enumerations

An enumeration is edited in the main panel of the enumeration, by clicking the edit icon (or by selecting "Edit Enumeration" in the menu).

Edit

The edit mode allows the modification of all standard input fields. Additional, customer-specific fields can be added using annotations and will then also appear in the edit mode.

Edit mode

The icons in the lower left corner of the edit view allow further settings to be made:

  • Clicking img marks the element as favorite.
  • Clicking img marks the element as locked.
  • Clicking img marks the element as read-only.

Clicking "Save" applies the changes.

Delete enumeration

An enumeration can be deleted in the main panel of the enumeration, by selecting "Delete Enumeration" in the menu.
