Systems
A system describes a software or an environment where data is stored, processed or analyzed. A system can contain subsystems to structure the system landscape.
Add systems
Systems are specified in a system catalog in the subpanel of a collection.

A new system is added by clicking the icon "+" (or by selecting "Add System..." in the menu).

It is mandatory to assign a label to the system. In addition, a title and a description can be specified.
Clicking "Add" creates the system.
Systems can also be created by duplicating other systems.
Edit systems
A system is edited in the main panel of the system, by clicking the edit icon (or by selecting "Edit System" in the menu).

The edit mode allows the modification of all standard input fields. Additional, customer-specific fields can be added using annotations and will then also appear in the edit mode.

The icons in the lower left corner of the edit view allow further settings to be made:
- Clicking
marks the element as favorite.
- Clicking
marks the element as locked.
- Clicking
marks the element as read-only.
Clicking "Save" applies the changes.
A system can be deleted in the main panel of the system, by selecting "Delete System" in the menu.
The elements that the system deploys for execution or storage, are displayed in the subpanel of the system.
Add subsystems
Subsystems are specified in the subpanel of a system.

A new subsystem is added by clicking the tab "Subsystems" and the icon "+" (or by selecting "Add Subsystem..." in the menu).

It is mandatory to assign a label to the subsystem. In addition, a title and a description can be specified.

Edit subsystems
A subsystem is edited in the main panel of the subsystem, by clicking the edit icon (or by selecting "Edit Subsystem" in the menu).

A subsystem can be subsequently edited and converted to a system. Likewise, a system can be subsequently edited and converted to a subsystem.
