Translations
A translation assigns a source reference value to target reference value. Translations are organized in mappings. A reference value from a source reference object may be translated to multiple reference values from a target reference object.
Add translations
Translations are specified in a reference data model in the subpanel of a mapping.

A new translation is added by clicking the icon "+" (or by selecting "Add Translation..." in the menu).

It is mandatory to assign two reference values (source and target) to the translation.
Clicking "Add" creates the translation.
Translations can also be created by duplicating other translations.
Edit translations
Quick edit
A translation is edited in the subpanel of the mapping, by clicking the edit icon (or by selecting "Edit Translation" in the menu) next to the translation.

The quick edit mode allows the modification of the most frequently used input fields.

The icons in the lower left corner of the edit view allow further settings to be made:
- Clicking
marks the element as favorite.
- Clicking
marks the element as locked.
- Clicking
marks the element as read-only.
Clicking "Save" applies the changes.
A translation can be deleted in the subpanel of the mapping, by selecting "Delete Translation" in the menu next to the translation.
Detailed edit
A translation is edited in the main panel of the translation, by clicking the edit icon (or by selecting "Edit Translation" in the menu).

The detailed edit mode allows the modification of all standard input fields. Additional, customer-specific fields can be added using annotations and will then also appear in the edit mode.

The icons in the lower left corner of the edit view allow further settings to be made:
- Clicking
marks the element as favorite.
- Clicking
marks the element as locked.
- Clicking
marks the element as read-only.
Clicking "Save" applies the changes.
A translation can be deleted in the main panel of the translation, by selecting "Delete Translation" in the menu.
